Responsible for setting up streams of coaching and other development activity work as guided by the Northants development plan to also include Disability Cricket.
Engaging with clubs to develop their volunteers structures.

* To organize and deliver the Northants Disability Programme
* To manage the Northants Disability Squad
* To work with the CDM to deliver the Disability Development Plan and Annual Action Plan
Andy is now an ECB Level 3 qualified coach and has coaching and playing experience in Australia and the United Kingdom. He has previously worked for the South Northants District coaching and managing the Under 11 - 15 squads and has also coached Northamptonshire Age Group squads and now the Northants Disability side.
Andy was called up to assist with the coaching of the England Learning Disability squad in 2013 and has since then been a regular member of the coaching team preparing the squad for their next Tri-Nations series in Australia 2015.
Recently Northants was selected as a Disability Cricket Centre of Excellence and will be hosting the ECB Midlands Development programme from October 2013 which will see Andy teaming up with Warwickshire Disability coach Andy Wyles and Leicestershire based Programme Manager Graham Redfern to deliver this new initiative.
In 2013, Andy coached the Northants Disability side in the first Disability T20 game on the County Ground in a charity game raising money for Help for Heroes. The team raised over £3000 that night.
Andy has been coaching since the age of 16 and spent the past summer delivering the ‘Chance to Shine’ project and during the past winter he was coaching and playing for the Edgewater Cricket Club in Perth, Western Australia scoring 115 on debut.
Andy started playing cricket at the age of 11 playing for Preston Capes and age group representative cricket.
