Last weekend saw the District Cricket programme move into its third week at Winchester House School. The new venue has provided excellent facilities for the programme and increased the quality of the sessions for the players. The sessions have been taking place on Saturday afternoons for the U11, U12 and U14 Age Groups.
All the players attending the sessions have been nominated by their club or school, with 37 players currently part of the Under 11 Age Group, 33 players with the U12 Age Group and 57 players with the U14 Age Group respectively. The number of nominations received by respective cricket clubs across the District has significantly increased from 2011, with twenty clubs and schools nominating their talented players.
