Northants Cricket is pleased to announce the re-launching of the Indoor Cricket League based in the Indoor Cricket Centre at the County Ground. This format of cricket was hugely successful in Northampton in past years; a number of teams went on to represent the county in national finals at Lord's.
The league is going to begin on the 30th September and will be played on Sunday evenings. It will initially only be open to cricket clubs, however we hope to develop a more social offer to local business and societies in the near future.
The league will run to break even making it more accessible to local clubs, match fees will cover the facility, balls and umpires. We are actively seeking a partner to cover the costs of certain aspects of the league. If you would like to take this opportunity to be part of the indoor league and a partner of Northants Recreational Cricket then please contact us using the details below.
“We are excited about the re-launch of the indoor league here in Northampton as it has previously been extremely successful. We are expecting a large uptake due to the lack of cricket opportunities in this very wet summer. The league represents a great partnership opportunity for a local company to get involved at the very start of this new venture.” Derek Styman, Cricket Development Manager.
