Do you fancy being involved in a small team of committed individuals driving cricket forward within the South Northants District? Are you a qualified coach looking to develop and progress your coaching? Would you like to coach or manage a representative District team or like to work with the best young cricketers from across South Northants?
If the answer is yes, then please read about the opportunities available within the South Northants District Team:-
As part of our plans to continue the success of the South Northants District we are seeking qualified coaches interested in becoming a coach or manager for a representative Age Group to inspire and develop the best cricketers from across the area.
The South Northants District has won four out of nine competitions over the past two years including three runners-up place finishes. The South Northants District is committed in delivering the best programme possible to all of the players nominated from their respective clubs for district representative trials.
District Cricket takes the form of a winter programme beginning in the New Year, with the eventual squad undertaking a series of matches, culminating in a competitive Twenty20 and District Festival against the other districts mid-summer. District representative cricket is an integral part of the Northants Player Pathway and is contested at the U11, U12 and U14 Age Groups respectively.
As well as helping to improve the playing standard across the district, you will also have the opportunity to be a part of the Northants Coach Education programme as well as receiving coaching updates, ideas and support through ECB CA Northants. We recognise what a huge impact you make to cricketers in South Northants and we want to help you help others through your coaching skills.
If you would like more information on the roles available, please contact District Development Coach, Matthew Barnes on email@example.com or 07526 116057.
